THE LIBRARY IS HOSTING A HOME SCHOOL MEETING ON SEPTEMBER 11th AT 10 AM AT THE BOOKSTORE, PLEASE JOIN US FOR ACTIVITIES FOR THE CHILDREN AND PLANNING MEETING FOR THE ADULTS.

                                           

The library is pleased to announce the Library Services Grant that has been awarded, below are the planned speakers:

August: Evan Todd will speak about his experiences as a Columbine survivor. 

September: Joe Torrillo will speak about his experiences as a firefighter during the attack in New York on September 11, 2001.

October: Mary Collins Barille will present history and folklore about the hauntings of Missouri, and ghostly experiences.

November: Jesse James presentation on his life in Missouri.

January: St. Joseph Museum's will present the History of State Lunatic Asylum #2

February: Lisa Marks will present the life and times of Unsinkable Molly Brown.

 

                                         

The Book Club will be meeting on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 10 a.m.

The Following titles have been selected for the upcoming months:

May: Return to Sender by Fern Michaels

June: The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini

July: Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys

August: The Time Keeper by Mitch Albom

September: Without Mercy by Lisa Jackson
