THE LIBRARY IS HOSTING A HOME SCHOOL MEETING ON AUGUST 7 AT 10 AM AT THE BOOKSTORE, PLEASE JOIN US FOR SCIENCE EXPERIMENTS FOR THE CHILDREN AND PLANNING MEETING FOR THE ADULTS.

                                           

The library is pleased to announce the Library Services Grant that has been awarded, below are the planned speakers:

August: Evan Todd will speak about his experiences as a Columbine survivor. 

September: Joe Torrillo will speak about his experiences as a firefighter during the attack in New York on September 11, 2001.

October: Mary Collins Barille will present history and folklore about the hauntings of Missouri, and ghostly experiences.

November: Jesse James presentation on his life in Missouri.

January: St. Joseph Museum's will present the History of State Lunatic Asylum #2

February: Lisa Marks will present the life and times of Unsinkable Molly Brown.

 

SUMMER READING PROGRAM BEGINS JUNE 3RD!

READERS OF ALL AGES WILL EXPLORE ALL KINDS OF SCIENCE THIS SUMMER WITH "FIZZ, BOOM, READ! DURING THEIR SUMMER LIBRARY PROGRAM. ACTIVITIES INCLUDE SCIENCE EXPERIMENTS, GROSSOLOGY FUN AND MORE.

THE 2014 SUMMER READING PROGROM IS OPEN TO YOUNG PEOPLE, PRESCHOOL THROUGH YOUNG ADULT. PICK UP YOUR REGISTRATION FORM AT THE LIBRARY.
